
Workshop Objectives
United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) has developed a global strategy on women’s economic empowerment, the Participation of Women in the Economy Realized (PoWER) and a comprehensive country assessment toolkit to support the implementation of the strategy.
The aim of this workshop is to share and validate the Myanmar country assessment findings and insights on the key constraints and enablers of women and girls’ access, and control of finances ross the supply, demand and the enabling environment key spheres of influence and the cross-cutting socio-cultural context.
Workshop participants
40-50 participants from multiple stakeholder groups including financial service providers, policymakers, regulators, business associations, civil society representatives, bilateral and multilateral development agencies.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have:

Been exposed to country assessment toolkit and how use for complementary insights to other studies and data and inform programme design and partnership strategies.

Heard key findings from country assessment report.

Validated findings and helped prioritized recommendations for action.
