Summary

The Republic of The Gambia ratified the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in 1994, committing the country to the adoption and implementation of policies and measures that mitigate the causes of climate change and help the country adapt to its adverse effects. This National Communication is in fulfillment of the UNFCCC, and it follows its guidelines.
