UNCDF organized a 10-day photo exhibition to celebrate 40 years of support for local economic development in West and Central Africa. Development actors (Government, ambassadors and members of international cooperation, financial institutions, local elected officials, United Nations agencies...) all responded to the opening. Under the concept of “LocalMe”, this exhibition presents testimonials from beneficiaries, presents photos that highlight the historic contribution of UNCDF to strengthening local communities in strategic areas such as improving food and nutrition security, financial inclusion of young people and women, resilience to climate change, economic empowerment of women, digitization of payments, etc.
