Fast-tracking digital payments in countries deeply impacted by the COVID-19 crisis will be essential to supporting vulnerable populations and frontline health workers who drive the response to the crisis.Previous experiences with crises can provide guidance on how to direct such payments. The Ebola crisis and the earthquake in Nepal both required fast-tracking payments where the expertise of UNCDF and the partnerships it developed with telco operators was used to support these actions.In this webinar, we will go over multiple cases so that participants can learn about the prerequisites for such digital payments and analyze them against their geographic areas of focus.
