Today, 247 million women 15+ are living below the extreme poverty line due to inequality and COVID-19. The time to take action is now.

The United Nations Capital Development Fund Women's World Banking, the World Bank, the Better Than Cash Alliance, United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA), UN Women, and are proud to present “Reaching Financial Equality for Women report, A 10-point action plan for governments and businesses to rebuild stronger after COVID-19 by prioritizing women’s digital financial inclusion”.

Opening remarks delivered by H.M. Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, UNSGSA, with panel speakers including, H.E. Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Finance, Republic of Indonesia, Honorable Arturo Herrera, Minister of Finance and Public Credit, United Mexican States and Dr. Ernest Kwamina Addison, Governor of Bank of Ghana. Moderated by Professor Claudine Moore, Facilitator, Moderate the Panel. Closing remarks delivered by Ms. Prema Gopalan, Global Advisor to the Huairou Commission, Founder of Swayam Shikshan Prayog.
