Gains in women’s entrepreneurship and empowerment can be accelerated through critical partnerships and sharing of lessons learned (SDG 17). In the Global South, where women’s entrepreneurship requires the most attention, and where financial innovations continue to grow, the South-South approach offers an enormous opportunity for technical cooperation.
To that end, the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) hosted a webinar to showcase gender-responsive financial solutions in the Global South that have helped build the right conditions for women’s entrepreneurship and empowerment, as well as deliberate key prerequisites for progress in women’s economic empowerment.
