LoCAL is at COP, raising ambition on locally led adaptation

The Local Climate Adaptive Living Facility is at COP26, the annual Conference of the Parties that this year takes place in Glasgow. It’s at this global gathering, that key decisions can be taken that could deliver real and actionable results to tackle global warming and the climate breakdown that we’re increasingly witnessing. We’ve travelled to COP26 with a small delegation to make a big noise about raising ambition on locally led adaptation at our LLA Hub.
The LLA HUB is sponsored by the Local Climate Adaptive Living Facility to advance the case for Locally Led Adaptation at COP26 and raise ambition for increased finance, action and results for adaptation that puts communities first. The LLA Hub space brings the LoCAL Facility together with IIED and WRI to raise awareness of the Eight Principles for Locally Led Adaptation.
Full details of the events, interviews and discussions taking place on the LLA Hub are available here. Many of them are accessible virtually, so look out for the registration links.
You can also find a round-up of all the events where the LoCAL Facility is participating here.
Find below a few snapshots from the event space. We look forward to seeing you there, either in person or virtually at one of the events.
