Local Climate Adaptive Living mechanism as Non-Market Approach for adaptation in LDCs, SIDS & Africa

Cambodia, Cote d’Ivoire, Kenya, The Gambia, and the Africa Group of Negotiators, have made submissions for the Local Climate Adaptive Living Facility, LoCAL, to be recognised as a Non-Market Approach Under Article 6.8 of the Paris Agreement. Speakers at this event share experience in LoCAL implementation and explain why they support recognition of LoCAL as an NMA by COP27.
