YouthStart Case Studies for Ethiopia

In 2010, UNCDF launched YouthStart in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation to boost economic opportunities for young people around the world. UNCDF recently completed an in-depth financial diaries study to better understand current knowledge, skills, and behaviors of youth that have accessed financial and non-financial services through the YouthStart programme. These case studies highlight the savings and spending patterns of youth clients from YouthStart’s partner in Ethiopia ACSI who participated in the financial diaries study.
