Building the Business Case for Youth Financial Services II

Building the Business Case for Youth Financial Services II

December 16, 2015 - 09:24 -- karima.wardak

This publication is the second paper in a series analysing the business case of youth services (i.e. financial and non-financial services).

Through an in-depth profitability analysis of three YouthStart partners (UFC in Rwanda, FCPB in Burkina Faso and OIBM in Malawi) conducted by the Frankfurt School, this paper examines the revenue and cost drivers that affect the profitability of serving the youth segment. It is a multidimensional study that applies a quantitative cost/revenue analysis for products targeting youth and analyses the results within market and institutional contexts.
