Email Fraud Advisory

UNCDF recently fell victim to an internet scam whereby a fraudulent email was circulated announcing fictitious vacancy announcements. The purpose of this fraud was to get people to register for a training, and send in a fee.

As a matter of practice, UNCDF does not charge any application, processing or training fee at any stage of the recruitment process.

Please be advised that this scam is currently being investigated by our legal affairs department. Anyone who has received this fraudulent notice is asked to forward it on to scamalert@undp.org to assist with the investigation.

If you are a victim of this fraud, please take all appropriate measures to protect against the unauthorised use of any personal information you may have provided as a result of the scam.

UNCDF often recruits through the United Nations and the UN Development Programme. For more information, and to see a list of vacancies, please visit jobs.un.org and /www.undp.org/jobs/.
