Youth financial inclusion as driver for youth empowerment

To celebrate International Youth Day (IYD) 2021, the GrEEn Project and the Youth Banking Department of Ecobank Ghana are co-hosting a webinar to showcase how access to financial services for youth is a key driver for youth empowerment.

Participants will exchange best practices in youth financial inclusion, key learnings from Ghana and the West Africa Region as well as key youth success stories.

About the GrEEn Project
UNCDF is active in Ghana under the “Boosting Green Employment and Enterprise Opportunities in Ghana – (GrEEn)”, a 4- year project with funding from the European Union Emergency Trust Fund (EUTF) which aims at creating new green jobs to stem the root causes of irregular migration whilst promoting the growth of the circular economy in the Ashanti and Western regions of Ghana. Under this framework and among different result areas, UNCDF aims at increasing access and usage of financial services adapted to the needs of the most vulnerable groups in the targeted areas.
