Conference
Leaving no micro-merchants behind
in the digital era in Bangladesh
23 March 2021 — The Westin Dhaka
Micro merchants are the last mile transaction points for the population, and having one of the least entry barrier in setting up for income generation. UNCDF with support of the European Union and in partnership with Dnet, BDMS, and FBCCI has been implementing the Merchants Development Driving Rural Markets (MDDRM) project since 2017 in Bangladesh.
This conference will showcase lessons and market insights from MDDRM’s work, and through panel sessions engage policymakers regulators, market participants and innovators in this space; and promote international best practices and case studies on micro-merchant use cases. The conference is a one day event, featuring panel discussions, investment pitches and keynotes.
